DAY -01

Airport –>Pinnawala ->Sigiriya

Warmly welcomed by our airport representative, you will be introduced to your dedicated chauffer for the tour. To be transferred to Sigiriya.

Travel time 3 hours 30 minutes En route visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and Dambulla Cave Temple.

Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage

The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is one of the most popular excursions and tourist destinations since its inception back in 1975. It's a rare opportunity to get up close and personal with the elephants, which makes for a memorable experience.

Upon arrival in Sigiriya, check- in to the hotel. Rest sometime. In the evening, climb to Pidurangala rock for a breathtaking view of Sigiriya and the sunset.

Overnight stay in Sigiriya.

DAY - 02
Sigiriya -> Dambulla -> Kandy

Early morning visit (Around 6.00am) Sigiriya. You will able to see stunning view while sun is rising.

Sigiriya

It was named as the eighth wonder of ancient world, a rock fortress of Sri Lanka. The entrance looks like the mouth of a lion, it stands tall even today reminding of ancient wonder. There are frescoes you can see inside the mighty rock. Sigiriya today is a UNESCO listed world heritage site.

Return to the hotel and breakfast .Thereafter you will transfer to Kandy.
Travel time 2 hours 30 minutes.

En route visit Dambulla cave temple and Spice garden.

Dambulla Cave Temple

The Golden Cave Temple is the largest and the best preserved temple that dates back to the 5th and to the 13th century has over 150 Buddha statues and Buddhist mural painting cover this 2000sq meter area. This is a UNESCO world heritage site.

Spice garden

Enjoy Sri Lanka’s world renowned spices at their source. Visit a spice garden, where aroma of cinnamon, pepper, cardamom, nutmeg and mace overwhelm the senses and the visitors are provided an insight into an age old industry of spice production, which attracted many European and Asian merchants to the ports of ancient Sri Lanka.

Reach to Kandy and check in to the hotel. Leave at 6PM visit Temple of tooth.

Sri Dalada Maligawa or the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is the most prominent Buddhist temple in the country, it is located in the Royal Palace Complex of the former Kingdom. This is a UNESCO world heritage site.

Guest should be dressed covering knees and shoulders in a respectful manner. Overnight stay in Kandy.

DAY - 03
Kandy->Ramboda->Nuwaraeliya

Breakfast. Leave at 0900 visit Kandy city tour.

Thereafter proceed to Nuwara Eliya. Witness the Ramboda water fall & en-route visit to Hanuman Temple, Tea Factory you can stop and enjoy a cup of Ceylon Tea while enjoying the spectacular scenery.

Sri Bhaktha Hanuman Temple - Believed that Hanuman was searching for Sita Devi from a place called“Ravana Goda” close to this Bhakta Hanuman Temple. Important Ramayana tour site in Sri Lanka.

Overnight stay in Nuwaraeliya

DAY - 04
Nuwaraeliya –> Ella by Train

Ella by train

Nuwaraeliya is also called “The Little England”, the structures have a British touch here.

Breakfast .Leave at 0900 to explore Nuwaraeliya city and Sita Amman temple. Sita Amman temple Sita Amman Temple is the only Hindu Temple which dedicated to Princess Sita in Sri Lanka. Believed that the Sita Devi was kept captive at this site by King Ravana Thereafter proceed to Nanu Oya station for for experience train journey. The train ride (4hr) from Nanu Oya to Ella is undoubtedly one of the most scenic train rides in the world. Magnificent views of the tea plantation, forests and mountains are something you should not miss.

On arrival at Ella you will be picked up by our driver and visit Nine Arch Bridge and capture beautiful photographs with the train. Dinner and overnight stay in Ella.

DAY - 05
Ella -> Bentota

Ella

Ella is the gateway from the dry zone to the hills of Sri Lanka. this town offers you a range of activities from hiking to exploring caves, a walk to the famed 9 arches railway bridge, little Adams peak climb and of course an evening of local pub crawling and a number of local restaurants. Early morning you will climb to Little Adam’s Peak for a breathtaking view and the sunrise. Return to hotel after breakfast and visit Nine Arch Bridge and capture beautiful photographs with the train.

*Any of these activities can be done on the first day.

Thereafter drive to Bentota. Travel Time 3 hours 30 minutes.

On the way visit the Galle Dutch fort, this is also where the Portuguese first set foot in the year 1505 and built a fortress, which was later captured and fortified by the Dutch in the 17th century. The fortress is one of the best preserved on the island. This is a UNESCO world heritage site.

Overnight stay in Bentota.

DAY - 06
Bentota

The resort town of Bentota is located on the southwestern coast of Sri Lanka, 82km south of Colombo. Long stretches of sandy beaches, winding rivers, ancient history and exciting water sports make Bentota a popular destination for locals, as well as foreign holiday makers.

Breakfast. Leave at 0900 visit Turtle hatchery and Madu river boat safari. Turtle hatchery Sea Turtles are one of threatened species of the world. Southern costal line is a common place for laying eggs by sea turtles. Visit turtle hatcheries and learn how they are conserved and protected.

Madhu river boat safari & fish foot massage

Madu Ganga River is a complex coastal ecosystem of mangroves and islands. It may be one of the last remaining tracts of pristine mangrove forests in Sri Lanka. A boat trip is a wonderful way of seeing some of the hundreds of species of plants and animals.

Rest of the day you can leisure at the hotel.

DAY - 07
Colombo -> Departure

After breakfast, proceed to Colombo.

Travel time (Bentota to Colombo): 1.5 hours

Afternoon go on a site seeing and a shopping trip around the busy cities of Colombo. You’ll be seeing the famous Gangarama temple, Seema MaLakaya, Lotus tower the Municipal Council and Galle Face Green. You can enjoy fair bargain by shopping at some of the reputed shopping malls such as Odel, liberty plaza, majestic city, one gall face, etc. (Depending on time of departure airport drop) Now that you are at the end of your journey with us, chauffeur will comfortably take you to the international airport in time for your departure flight.
