DAY -01

Airport –>Pinnawala ->Sigiriya

Warmly welcomed by our airport representative, you will be introduced to your dedicated chauffer for the tour. To be transferred to Sigiriya.

Travel time 3 hours 30 minutes En route visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and Dambulla Cave Temple. Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage

The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is one of the most popular excursions and tourist destinations since its inception back in 1975. It's a rare opportunity to get up close and personal with the elephants, which makes for a memorable experience.

Dambulla Cave Temple

The Golden Cave Temple is the largest and the best preserved temple that dates back to the 5th and to the 13th century has over 150 Buddha statues and Buddhist mural painting cover this 2000sq meter area. This is a UNESCO world heritage site.

Upon arrival in Sigiriya, check- in to the hotel. Rest sometime. In the evening, climb to Pidurangala rock for a breathtaking view of Sigiriya and the sunset.

Overnight stay in Sigiriya.

DAY - 02
Sigiriya -> Kandy

Sigiriya

Debated as the 8th wonder of the World, Sigiriya is a historical wonder. A rock fortress built by King Kasayapa in the 5th century. The 180m high rock demonstrate the ancient artistic and engineering marvel. This is a UNESCO world heritage site.

Back to hotel and after breakfast you will transfer to Kandy. Travel Time (Dambulla to Kandy):2 hours 30 minutes. En route visit Spice Garden.

Spice garden

Enjoy Sri Lanka’s world renowned spices at their source. Visit a spice garden, where aroma of cinnamon, pepper, cardamom, nutmeg and mace overwhelm the senses and the visitors are provided an insight into an age old industry of spice production, which attracted many European and Asian merchants to the ports of ancient Sri Lanka.

Things do in Kandy

Temple of the scared tooth: Sri Dalada Maligawa or the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is the most prominent Buddhist temple in the country, it is located in the Royal Palace Complex of the former Kingdom.

Guest should be dressed covering knees and shoulders in a respectful manner.

DAY - 03
Ramboda -> Ella

After breakfast, proceed to Nanu-Oya.

Travel time 2 hours 30 minutes

En route Ramboda and visit a Tea factory and experience the process of how the world’s best known tea is made and enjoy a panoramic view of Ramboda Waterfall with a refreshment.

Ella by train

The train ride (4hr) from Nanu Oya to Ella is undoubtedly one of the most scenic train rides in the world. Magnificent views of the tea plantation, forests and mountains are something you should not miss.

On arrival at Ella you will be picked up by our driver and visit Nine Arch Bridge and capture beautiful photographs with the train. Dinner and overnight stay in Ella.

DAY - 04
Ella -> Bentota

Sunrise in Ella is worth an early wake up!
Early morning you will climb to Little Adam’s Peak for a breathtaking view and the sunrise.

Return to hotel after breakfast proceed to Bentota. Travel Time (Ella to Bentota):4 hours 30 minutes On the way visit the Dalawella beach & Galle Dutch fort.

This is also where the Portuguese first set foot in the year 1505 and built a fortress, which was later captured and fortified by the Dutch in the 17th century. The fortress is one of the best preserved on the island. This is a UNESCO world heritage site.

Swing Rope-Dalawella beach

The swing at Dalawella Beach is the Instagram swing in Sri Lanka.

The swing is outside a small guesthouse (Dream Cabanas) and is attached midway up a palm tree that stretches out towards the beach.
Overnight stay in Bentota

DAY - 05
Bentota

The resort town of Bentota is located on the southwestern coast of Sri Lanka, 82km south of Colombo. Long stretches of sandy beaches, winding rivers, ancient history and exciting water sports make Bentota a popular destination for locals, as well as foreign holiday makers.

Turtle hatchery

Sea Turtles are one of threatened species of the world. Southern costal line is a common place for laying eggs by sea turtles. Visit turtle hatcheries and learn how they are conserved and protected.

Madhu river boat safari & fish foot massage

Madu Ganga River is a complex coastal ecosystem of mangroves and islands. It may be one of the last remaining tracts of pristine mangrove forests in Sri Lanka. A boat trip is a wonderful way of seeing some of the hundreds of species of plants and animals.

Rest of the leisure and overnight stay in Bentota

DAY - 06
Colombo -> Departure

Thereafter proceed to Colombo. Travel time (Bentota to Colombo): 1.5 hours

Evening go on a site seeing and a shopping trip around the busy cities of Colombo. You’ll be seeing the famous Gangarama temple, Seema MaLakaya, Lotus tower the Municipal Council and Galle Face Green. You can enjoy fair bargain by shopping at some of the reputed shopping malls such as Odel, liberty plaza, majestic city, one gall face, etc.

Now that you are at the end of your journey with us, chauffeur will comfortably take you to the international airport in time for your departure flight.
