DAY -01

Airport –>Pinnawala ->Sigiriya

Warmly welcomed by our airport representative, you will be introduced to your dedicated chauffer for the tour. To be transferred to Sigiriya.

Travel time 3 hours 30 minutes En route visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and Dambulla Cave Temple.

Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage

The Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage is one of the most popular excursions and tourist destinations since its inception back in 1975. It's a rare opportunity to get up close and personal with the elephants, which makes for a memorable experience.

Reach to Sigiriya and enjoy the village tour.

Village Tour

You can try and enjoy a village tour .one of the most memorable Sri Lankan experiences is the village tour. A good combination of bullock cart ride, catamaran safari, Chena visit and an authentic village kitchen experience with a Sri Lankan lunch is included in the package.

In the evening leave at 1700 climb to Pidurangala rock for a breathtaking view of Sigiriya and the sunset

DAY - 02
Sigiriya -> Dambulla -> Kandy

Early morning visit (Around 6.00am) Sigiriya. You will able to see stunning view while sun is rising.

Sigiriya

It was named as the eighth wonder of ancient world, a rock fortress of Sri Lanka. The entrance looks like the mouth of a lion, it stands tall even today reminding of ancient wonder. There are frescoes you can see inside the mighty rock. Sigiriya today is a UNESCO listed world heritage site.

Return to hotel and breakfast .Leave at 1000 drive to Kandy. Travel time 4 hrs.

En route visit Dambulla cave temple.

Dambulla Cave Temple

The Golden Cave Temple is the largest and the best preserved temple that dates back to the 5th and to the 13th century has over 150 Buddha statues and Buddhist mural painting cover this 2000sq meter area. This is a UNESCO world heritage site.

Lunch at Kandy and check in to the hotel. Leave at 1800 visit Temple of tooth –Optional Sri Dalada Maligawa or the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic is the most prominent Buddhist temple in the country, it is located in the Royal Palace Complex of the former Kingdom.

Guest should be dressed covering knees and shoulders in a respectful manner. Overnight stay in Kandy.

DAY - 03
Kandy->Ramboda->Nuwaraeliya

Breakfast .Leave at 0930 explore Kandy city tour..

Thereafter drve to Nuwaraeliya .Travel time 3 hra.On the way visit Ambuluwa, Tea factory and experience the process of how the world’s best known tea is made and enjoy a panoramic view of Ramboda Waterfall with a refreshment.

DAY - 04
Nuwaraeliya –> Ella

Ella by train

Nuwaraeliya is also called “The Little England”, the structures have a British touch here.

After breakfast, visit to Nuwaraeliya city and Sitta Amman temple before drive to Nanu Oya rail station. The train ride (4hr) from Nanu Oya to Ella is undoubtedly one of the most scenic train rides in the world. Magnificent views of the tea plantation, forests and mountains are something you should not miss.

*Train tickets needs to be booked in advance. On arrival at Ella you will be picked up by our driver and proceed to Ella hotel. Overnight stay in Ella.

DAY - 05
Ella

Ella

Ella is the gateway from the dry zone to the hills of Sri Lanka. this town offers you a range of activities from hiking to exploring caves, a walk to the famed 9 arches railway bridge, little Adams peak climb and of course an evening of local pub crawling and a number of local restaurants. Early morning you will climb to Little Adam’s Peak for a breathtaking view and the sunrise. Return to hotel after breakfast and visit Nine Arch Bridge and capture beautiful photographs with the train.

*Any of these activities can be done on the first day.

DAY - 06
Elephant Transport Home -Udawalave National Park

Breakfast. Leave at 1000 to Udawalave .Travel time 3 hrs. On the way visit Ravana water fall. Reach to Udawalve and lunch at Udawalava. Thereafter visit to Elephant Transit Home–(Feeding time is 2.30 pm) “Eth Athuru Sevana” or the “Elephant Transit Home” is the Asia's first rehabilitation center for elephants. The center takes of abandon calves who need care and nourish them until they are capable of living on their own and release them to various national parks.

DAY - 07
Mirissa

After breakfast proceed to Mirissa. Udawalve to Mirissa drive is approx. 3hr 30min Lunch at Mirissa and check in to the hotel. Relax till in the evening. Leave at 17000 to Coconut Tree Hill Coconut Tree Hill is one of the most Instagrammable spots in Sri Lanka and one of the top things to do in Mirissa. The private coconut farm is just a 15-minute walk from Mirissa Beach and offers some of the best views in the area!

DAY - 08,09
Mirissa-Unawatuna-Galle

Early morning departure for whale watching

Blue whales are the biggest animals that have ever lived on our planet. And if ever you needed an extra reason to go to Sri Lanka, then this is one. Tours start early at 6am, and during the three to four hours you’re out on the water, you’re likely to catch sightings of blue, sperm and possibly even a Humpback whale.

On the way visit Turtle farm, Swing Rope in Dalawella, Galle city. Turtle hatchery Sea Turtles are one of threatened species of the world. Southern costal line is a common place for laying eggs by sea turtles. Visit turtle hatcheries and learn how they are conserved and protected.

The swing is outside a small guesthouse (Dream Cabanas) and is attached midway up a palm tree that stretches out towards the beach.

Galle Fort

The Galle Dutch fort, this is also where the Portuguese first set foot in the year 1505 and built a fortress, which was later captured and fortified by the Dutch in the 17th century. The fortress is one of the best preserved on the island. This is a UNESCO world heritage site.

DAY - 10
Colombo -> Departure

Breakfast proceed to Colombo.

Go on a site seeing and a shopping trip around the busy cities of Colombo. You’ll be seeing the famous Gangarama temple, Seema MaLakaya, Lotus tower the Municipal Council and Galle Face Green. You can enjoy fair bargain by shopping at some of the reputed shopping malls such as Odel, liberty plaza, majestic city, one gall face, etc. (Depending on time of departure airport drop) Now that you are at the end of your journey with us, chauffeur will comfortably take you to the international airport in time for your departure flight.
